Suffering

People like to talk about Christ's Suffering and there own suffering. In the garden just before Jesus was arrested He prayed to God "if there is any other way let this cup pass from me. Not what I want but what you want is what is important." He did this because He knew His suffering would provide salvation for everyone. To make your self suffer in a fashion that does not bring you to salvation is not God's will. If you are suffering and are saved give your suffering to God and seek to know Him. Because the Hebrews turned there backs on God He gave them something they wanted that would make them suffer. Still He did not totally destroy them. He still loves them and you. He will do what is needed to restore to the place He wants you to be. He will deliver you at the time that He thinks is right. Suffering need not be painful if you seek God reason for the suffering and respond to it as He leads.

I pray with Paul the follow prayer for each of you.
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
