Dear brothers and sisters,
Pastor George and I hope you have had a great week and that your choices have been right in God's sight. This ends the teachings on Joseph's choices, and Pastor George and I have been led in other directions, so we won't be online here as often as we'd like. We'll still be here for you, but getting a reply from us will take a little longer.
Now, back to Joseph. he's in prosion because of something he didn't do and has decided to make the best of a bad situation and do and be what God would have him do and be. This gave him favor in the sight of those in charge of the prison, so he again assumed a leadership role. And he waited for God to deliver him and fulfill His promises to him. Finally, an opportunity seemed to surface. Joseph's gift of dream interpretation was evidently known, and the butler and the baker sought his skill. You know the atory. The baker was hanged after 3 days, and the butler was freed to return to Pharaoh's service. The butler promised joseph he would share about Joseph with Pharaoh, and Joseph waited and waited and waited. We don't know how long he persevered, but what must have been going on in Joseph's mind and heart about God and His promises! Finally, in His perfect timing, our great God gave Pharoah dreams that his wise men could not interpret, and He probably jogged the butler's memory about Joseph and his skills. Finally, God delivers Joseph form prison and greatly blesses him from then on as well as fulfilled His promises to him.
We don't know about you, but this gives Pastor George and me hope. We, too, have been given great visions and promises from God, and we are still waiting. What about you?
In His amazing love and care,
